MSSE-2019
Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of Karpenko Physico-mechanical institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (PhMI NASU) held a Young Scientists Conference on Materials Science and Surface Engineering (MSSE-2019) on September 25-27, 2019. The conference was held at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with the support of PhMI NASU Directorate, Trade Union Committee, “Techno-Resource” Engineering Center, “Gazothermik”, “Lvivanticor” Enterprises, “Electro” Compane" and “Energoresurs-Invest” Corporation.
The purpose of the Conference was to support young scientists and specialists of PMI NASU and other scientific and educational institutions in improving their professional qualifications and scientific level, exchanging ideas and approaches, testing new scientific results, gaining public experience and defending the basic principles of research.
The conference program was fully implemented. Young scientists and specialists from Ukraine who are engaged in research in the field of materials science, as well as related disciplines attended the Conference. Young scientists and specialists from Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, total of 15 academic and university institutions, presented during MSSE-2019 40 scientific reports, 3 plenary reports and published 206 pages of Conference scientific papers, which included 53 scientific reports.
The Conference demonstrated the high scientific and scientific-technical level of young scientists, fixed the most important scientific achievements in the areas of the conference. The success of the Conference testifies its relevance and great importance.
